Childhood Immunisations

Our Practice Nurse offers appointments on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Find out more about childhood immunisations using the links below.

If you have any queries about childhood immunisations or are worried that your child’s immunisations may not be up to date, please make an appointment with a practice nurse.

Practice Nurses

There is one Practice Nurses available between 2.00pm and 7.00pm on a Mondays and Wednesdays.

The services include health checks, cervical smears and immunisations. They are also available for monitoring specific problems like asthma, diabetes, etc.

Phlebotomist

The Phlebotomist is available for blood tests between 8.30am and 12.15pm during the week and between 9.00am and 11.00am on Saturdays. This is by appointment only.

Flu and Covid Vaccinations

Autumn 2023 Covid and Flu Clinics

Invitations will be sent to patients from the end of September onwards

The following groups will be invited by the practice:

  • Patients aged over 65
  • Patients 18-64 deemed at clinical risk
  • Household contact of those with weakened immune systems
  • Front line health and social care workers
  • 18-64 years who are carers

For patients under the age of 18 eligible for COVID vaccinations, please Book, cancel or change a COVID-19 vaccination appointment via the NHS Website from 18th September.

Flu 2-3 year olds

Flu vaccine clinics for 2-3 year olds have been put on for October 2023 and invites will go out shortly.
